Disney-branded products cannot be produced without obtaining a FAMA certification.Disney FAMA refers to a standardization initiative launched by The Walt Disney Company, the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerate. Founded on October 16, 1923, by Walt and Roy Disney in Los Angeles, USA, the animation studio grew to become Hollywood's major studio. Suppliers who do not meet the desired standards through audits or inspections are not allowed to supply products. In other words, if a company wants to produce and sell products for the Disney company, it must comply with FAMA criteria and undergo inspections. Disney-branded products cannot be manufactured, operated, or used without obtaining a FAMA certification from the Disney company. International Labor Standards (ILS) requirements have been established on this matter, and licensees and suppliers must comply with the ILS program requirements.
